Brick Wall

I think we all have felt stopped in our tracks, by some invisible wall our minds have subconsciously built. It stands in front of us, looming with a powerfully dark shadow casting us into total darkness. Personally I've built walls I no longer have the strength to break down, I don't even have the proper tools to  begin to trying to tear them down. It's a scary place to be, stopped from advancing by some un- weirding force, trapped in our own maze. At some point I realized I wasn't going to tear it down, there was no going through it. I looked up and realized something, something we all need to recognize as we face these formidable securities... As humans we don't have the strenght to do anything about them, let HIM lift you above your walls, and over to the light. Admit your issues honestly and openly. Then lift up your hands...and watch what He does.

Naturally the laws of gravity and what not help is understand the seesaw we all loved as young children. I want to take a look at it's simple idea and apply it to our walks with Christ. One side goes up as the other goes down... Common knowledge. But how similar is that to our waivering trust in God? I remember as a kid loving the power of pushing off the ground as hard as I could and soaring towards the sky, then waiting for my friend to do the same so I could descend back toward the earth. What I realize now is the trust I had that my friend wouldn't let me stay lingering in mid air- I had to...
